Peindre est un appel intérieur auquel on ne résiste pas indéfiniment et pour lequel on tente d’être sincère et digne toile après toile. J’ai repris les pinceaux avec passion et intensité début 2022 et j’espère que vous pourrez ressentir un peu de cette énergie en découvrant mon travail !

Painting is the inner call from which we cannot resist indefinitely and for which we aspire to be sincere and worthy canvas after canvas. I started painting again with passion and intensity at the dawn of 2022, and I hope you will be able to feel parts of this energy by discovering my work!
Passages entre deux mondes
Inspirée par la nature et les personnes qui l’entourent, Marie-Evelyne peint dans son atelier situé à Cuise, dans l’Oise, à l’orée d’une profonde forêt, dont on retrouve la vie intense et le mystère dans ses tableaux.
La peinture de Marie-Evelyne vient des profondeurs. Son art est coloré, surprenant, éclectique, généreux.
Au départ, c’est une sensation, une émotion, un rêve, une humeur, ou tout simplement une image fugitive, une silhouette, un paysage, qui ont marqué l’artiste, qui ont happé ses yeux.
L’intellect intervient peu dans son processus créatif. C’est parfois tout simplement un format qui l’appelle, ou une matière, une technique à expérimenter – l’huile a sa préférence, mais elle travaille aussi bien avec l’acrylique, les encres, les solvants qui transforment le point de départ et l’emmènent vers ailleurs. Elle travaille par étapes en suivant son inspiration, son instinct, et se laisse guider par l’énergie de l’instant.
Très souvent, la musique l’accompagne et on la retrouve dans le mouvement de ses œuvres, dans le frémissement de leur lumière, dans le souffle qui traverse et entremêle les couleurs.
Ses tableaux sont des poèmes qui étreignent le cœur. Marie-Evelyne peint comme on prie : dans le recueillement, avec ferveur, avec son âme. Sa peinture est un acte sacré qui relie au Plus Grand.
Elle nous laisse entrevoir, dans chacun de ses tableaux, l’autre côté du miroir, comme à travers un éclat.
Ils sont des passages entre notre monde et celui des rêves, de l’imaginaire, de la profondeur de l’âme humaine.
Ni tout à fait ici, ni tout à fait là-bas, saturés de poésie, ils nous bouleversent et nous ramènent à notre enfance émerveillée.

Gate between two worlds
Inspired by nature and the people surrounding her, Marie-Evelyne paints in her studio located in Cuise, in the Oise French Region, on the edge of a deep forest.
Some of the life and mystic intensity of this forest can be felt in her paintings.
Marie-Evelyne's painting is about depth. Her art is colourful, surprising, eclectic, generous.
At the start, it can be a feeling, an emotion, a dream, a mood, or quite simply a fleeting image, a silhouette, a landscape, which caught her eyes.
The intellect intervenes little in her creative process. Sometimes it's simply a format that calls for it, or a material, a technique to experiment with - oil is her preference, but it works just as well with acrylics, inks, solvents that transforms the starting point and take her somewhere else.
She works in stages following her inspiration, her instinct, and she allows herself to be guided by the energy of the moment. Very often, the music accompanies her, and we find it in the movement of her works, in the quivering of their light, in the breath that crosses and intertwines the colours.
Her paintings are poems that embrace the heart. Marie-Evelyne paints as one prays in contemplation, with fervour, with her soul. Her painting is a sacred act that connects to the Greatest. She lets us glimpse, in each of her paintings, the other side of the mirror.
They are bridges between our world and that of our dreams and imagination, the depth of the human soul. Neither quite here nor quite there, saturated with poetry, they overwhelm us but keep bring us back to our comfortable childhood so we are safe.
